What should I bring on the fishing trip?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and comfortable clothing. You may also want to bring a light jacket for the morning. We provide all fishing equipment, bait, tackle, bottled water, ice, and a cooler for your catch.
Do I need a fishing license?
No! Your fishing license is included with your charter. We handle all the licensing requirements so you can focus on having fun.
How many people can go on a charter?
Our private charters can accommodate up to 6 guests. For larger groups, we can help arrange multiple boats. We also offer shared charters for individuals or smaller groups looking to join others.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions are unsafe, we’ll reschedule your trip at no additional cost. We monitor conditions closely and will contact you if there are any concerns.
What types of fish can we catch?
FLORIDA EAST COAST offers incredible variety! Depending on the season and trip type, you may catch mahi-mahi, tuna, sailfish, snapper, grouper, kingfish, wahoo, cobia, and many more species.
Do you clean and fillet the fish we catch?
Yes! Fish cleaning and bagging is included with every charter. We’ll have your catch ready to take home or to a local restaurant for cooking.
Is there a bathroom on the boat?
Yes, our 40-foot sport fish has a comfortable cabin with a private restroom for your convenience.

What is your cancellation policy?
We offer free cancellation up to 48 hours before your scheduled trip. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a fee. Weather-related cancellations are always free.
Can children come on the charter?
Absolutely! We love having families aboard. Captain MIKE is great with kids and will make sure everyone has a fantastic time. Children of all ages are welcome.
We ask that you tell the captain before you bring your kiddos to make sure we have the life jackets for their size
Where do we meet for the charter?
We depart from the docks at kings seafood in Port Orange FL. The exact slip location and directions will be provided when you book. Free parking is available nearby.
What time do charters depart?
Most charters depart around 7-8 AM to maximize fishing time during the best bite windows. Afternoon trips are also available. Private charters can depart at any time you’d like — just let us know your preference when booking. All shared charters depart at 8 AM.
